Private BEACH AND BAY access? Who says you can't have BOTH?! Castaway Cottage by Bailey Vacation Properties is located inside a quiet neighborhood in Perdido Key, Florida with PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS for the neighborhood AND backyard access to BOATING ON THE OPEN WATER. The neighborhood is surrounded by the sanctuary of PERDIDO KEY STATE PARK, which adds to the peacefulness. Come relax on the uncrowded beach, swim in the PRIVATE HEATED POOL, fish off the backyard TREX dock, hit the volleyball around, practice on our PUTTING GREEN and park YOUR BOAT or a RENTAL Boat on the water right in the backyard!
The house has been remodeled throughout and has all new furniture. PRIVATE HEATED POOL, Trex decking throughout, and lovely interior. For large groups, see VRBO #1470646 which is our property next door that sleeps 20. We have three other houses in the neighborhood as well. VRBO #1679216 that sleeps 14, #2145195 that sleeps 22, and #3744855 that sleeps 30. Between all of them, we can accommodate 102 people.

If the exclusiveness of the neighborhood isn't enough to draw you in, this upscale 3 bedroom/ 3.5 bath house certainly will. Walk 4 minutes from the front door to the ocean. Park your boat or rental at the dock behind the house for the duration of your stay, and explore all that the waterways of Orange Beach, Perdido Key, and Pensacola have to offer.
For your beach outings, we provide an Icemaker, a cooler with wheels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys, and a wagon with off-road tires to tote your belongings. For waterway play, we provide 2 kid kayaks, 2 adult kayaks, and a SUP stand-up paddleboard! For your boat, we provide a place to tie up for the duration of your stay with water and power at the dock. 2 Tennis & 6 Pickleball Courts across the street from the house just a few steps away!
There is ample seating with a water view from 4 balconies. Ring Toss, Putters, Bean Bag corn hole boards are provided for guest entertainment.
The entire 3 bedroom 3.5 bath house has recently been remodeled top to bottom with coastal finishes and high-end furnishings. Stainless appliances in the kitchen, which is fully stocked to cook and serve your guests.
The living room features a 65" 4k HD TV. There is also a 4k TV outside by the Pool! All the bedrooms feature 4k TVs. All TVs have voice command remotes with YouTube TV service provided. Streaming Services all available. There is super fast wifi internet throughout the house.

Summary: This was the most amazing house. The layout is great. There is everything you need in the kitchen, etc. I loved all the seating and big TV in the living room.The outside is the real key, though. The gorgeous pool and bay just steps away from your door can't be beat. We didn't have any issues, so we only talked to the hosts coming and going, but they were super helpful and thought of everything.

Summary: We loved the house and we loved the area! The house is overflowing with amenities that we underestimated (ie. beach chairs- there are many, they’re fancy, and they’re brand new)! There is a lot of beach gear which makes beach days super easy. The refrigerator by the pool area is full-size, which is nice to know for large groups! An overall fabulous week and great rental experience!!

Summary: Fantastic stay at the Castaway Cottage. Location was excellent - very quiet; easy to get to the beach and also right on the waterway. Had all the amenities you'd expect, lots of stuff for the beach, kayaks and paddle board were awesome - a big hit with the kids. House was very clean, and came stocked with anything. Gave them 1 recommendation on something they should have in the kitchen, and they Amazon'd it the very next day for arrival.Communication with the owner was fantastic and very responsive. Easy to communicate via the app or text messageHighly recommend this property - we will stay here again or in a larger property by the same owners in the future.

Summary: Our youngest son is in flight training at NAS Pensacola and in hopes of conserving his leave for other needs we decided to head to Florida for Thanksgiving. After much research we decided to set up house in Perdido Key for the week. I can’t tell you how lucky we were to end up at Castaway Cottage. I had real doubts about the decision to cook a full T-day dinner in a beach house. My fears were put to rest when I found the kitchen stocked with everything as key as a slow cooker to chilled beer mugs. Besides the kitchen every other aspect of the house gave us the ideal setting to entertain our son and his fellow ensigns. The pool, kayaks, and volleyball court kept everyone more than happy. Proximity to the beach (3 minute walking access to the beautiful state park beach), chairs, wagon, cooler, and endless ice allowed us to make the most out of the great weather. Lindsey was super responsive to every question from the minute I hit ‘reserve’. We had never visited this part of Florida before and got a 1st class experience. We be back as our son progresses thru the next few years of training and will stay nowhere else. Thanks for everything!!
